The media and government are doing a lot of finger pointing at BP.But the government had its hands in this tragic spill since 1978. There's much blame to go around and BP has certainly made some mistakes. But this presentation illustrates that the government must accept much of the blame. Moreover, it is argued that the root problem is America's lack of an Energy Policy and an effective program to assure our citizens of a stable supply of energy as required for our quality of life, our safety, and our prosperity.
