Our closing session will bring together four panelists, David W. Dodd, Vice President for Information Resources and CIO, Xavier University, Linda A. Jorn, Director, Office of Information Technology, University of Minnesota, Robert H. McDonald, Associate Dean for Library Technologies, Indiana University, and Melissa Woo, Director of Cyberinfrastructure/Director, Network & Operations Services, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, along with session moderator James J. Koenig, Director of Information Technology Services, College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University, who will reflect on the readiness of IT professionals to contribute to future higher education core emerging models highlighted in Diana Oblinger’s opening address. They will discuss the roles that information technology and IT professionals will play and how IT as a collaborative partner can provide value to the core futures of higher education. Panelists will synthesize what they heard at the conference in order to identify a vision and strategic paths for discussion by all attendees.
