The UltraShift HV is fuel efficient from the start. Aconventional automatic wastes fuel until “lock-up”occurs at approximately 24 miles-per-hour. TheUltraShift HV delivers fuel efficiency from the startat approximately 3 miles-per-hour and up. Thatsaves you significant fuel costs.

Reduced Maintenance Costs

The UltraShift HV offers lower operating costs thana conventional automatic transmission.

The UltraShift HV also saves you money with lessmaintenance requirements. Conventional automat-ics require an initial filter change at 5,000 miles,with additional filter changes every 50,000 miles.They also require a lube change every 100,000miles or 4 years.

The UltraShift HV is factory-filled with Roadranger-approved full-synthetic lube and requires nochanges of lube or filter for 500,000 miles.Because no scheduled maintenance is requiredwith the HV, you can save up to $130 per year oneach truck on maintenance costs alone… and lessmaintenance means more time on the road.

The Fuller medium-duty automated transmissioncommunicates with an electronic engine utilizingthe SAE-J1939 protocol for precise control of theengine and transmission functions.

Standard UltraShift HV UltraShift® HV with Park PawlWhen the shift selector is placed in the Park position, the parking pawl engages – locking thetransmission mainshaft in place. This ensures thatthe transmission and thus the vehicle drivenwheels will not turn.

The park pawl models require an OEM-suppliedshifter which replaces the standard pushbuttonshift console. It features the ability for Hold modein any gear for continuous operation on grades.
