This powerpoint presentation has been carried out by a group of senior learners with the help of the staff of the ACLI association. They have brought together the photographic material, accompanied by music, produced by the other learners of our European partners within the project ‘Flowers unite Europe’. They were asked to take photos of their own countries, portraying the most picturesque and flowery spots including balconies, small gardens and terraces.

Participants from each country, after carefully evaluating the photos which in their opinion better represented the style, traditions and care of the common people towards green spaces and flower growing and design, they choose and sent their slides to the Italian partner delegated to the final evaluation of the best and most significant flowery corners. Italy was chosen to act as the delegate to choose the symbolic winner of the best flowery area because of its familiarity with this type of competition that is organized every year by the town hall of Bacoli and Monte di Procida and the support and organization of the ACLI organization.

The choice was really difficult due to the several enchantingflowery spots portraited and in some cases arranged by the learners themselves. Each of them evokes a magical and warm atmosphere and got its own peculiarity .That’s why the commission delegated to judge has decided to choose onewinner for each European partner

The winners - criteria of selection

• Spain Selected as the best because it well represents the multi-ethnic esprit of Baleari Islands

• France Selected as the best because is an example of perfect harmony of nature -landscape and building

• Portugal Chosen as the best for the variety of flowers and their setting and arrangement

• Estonia Chosen for its peculiarity and typical Estonian style • Poland Chosen because of its simplicity and great

elegance • Italy Chosen as the best for the variety of colours ,the joyful

that generates and an example of care and passion of common people towards green spaces
