MATTHEW 24:14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

REJECTION OF THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL: WELCOME GOD’S WRATH

REVELATION 14:9, 1OAnd the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

GOD’S WRATH: WINE IN A CUP?

MATTHEW 26:38, 39, 42, 44Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt]. He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

WHO GAVE JESUS THIS CUP?HEBREWS 5:7

Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;...

LUKE 22:42, 44Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

JESUS: OBEDIENT UNTO HIS FATHER

MY, GOD, MY GOD,…A PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT

MADE TO DRINK THE CUP (WRATH OF GOD) WHICH A DISOBEDIENT PERSON SHOULD HAVE

DRUNK?

• DID JESUS EVER SINNED? • THEN WHY WOULD HE HAVE TO SUFFER THE

CURSE FOR SINNERS?

THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL: MESSAGE OF FORGIVENESS

ISAIAH 53:4-6Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

ROMANS 6:23For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

WHAT IS FORGIVENESS?

JOHN 3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

REJECTION OF THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL: SACRIFICIAL DEATH

EZEKIEL 39:17-19And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, [even] a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
