COVID SHOW PRECAUTIONS

1. Animals must be pre entered either by post, online entry system, BACs or Paypal.

2. There will be an entry gate plus a separate exit gate at each ring. A map of the showground will be available to download.

3. Sanitizer will be available near to the secretary area, however PLEASE bring your own, preferably a size that will fit into your pocket.

4. Please use your horsebox or trailer instead of the toilet facilities on the showground. If you need to use the public toilets, make sure

there is only one person in at a time.

5. Please remember to keep at least 2 metres apart both in the ring and outside of the ring in addition to any queue you need to join.

6. If you feel unwell, please DO NOT attend.

7. Awards will not be handed out in the ring. Rosettes/sashes/trophies can be collected from the side of the ring by you or whoever

has accompanied you to the show, supervised at a safe distance by the steward.

8. The rings will be larger than usual with a limit on class numbers.

9. Pre entered animals may enter other classes on the day. Entries on the day will be taken verbally from a 2 metre distance. Only the

competitor number and the class number will be required. Payment can be taken using the charity style money box at £10 per class

(NO CHANGE WILL BE AVAILBLE) or via Paypal or BACs.

10. There will be NO entry forms OR timetables/schedules available, so please remember to bring your own copy of the schedule.

11. NPS cards will not be signed in the ring, however you MUST include membership and registration numbers when you enter as results

and competitor details will be sent to NPS following the show.

12. When you have finished your class, please return to your vehicle as we would like minimal numbers near the ringside.

ROYAL LONDON SHOW "First, second and third placed horses/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show to be held at The College Equestrian Centre, Keysoe, Beds MK44 2JP September 2021. If a horse/pony has already qualified, cards may be handed down to 6th place at judge's discretion. . Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become registered with the International Showing Society within 28 days of the qualifying show. No horse registration is required. Qualify and enter ANY of the Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals! TSR NAF Five Star Riders Finals - 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification flyer in the ring. TSR NAF Five Star In Hand Finals - The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand sheet will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their sheet signed in the ring by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from the TSR website. THE EAST ANGLIA HORSE SHOW RULES: 1. The Show reserves the right to amalgamate any Class with less than 3 entries or sub-divide any class. 2. Any objections must be handed to the secretary in writing within 15 minutes of the class being judged, accompanied by £20.00. Deposit returnable if the objection is upheld. 3. The judge’s decision is FINAL. Any abuse towards judges or officials will result in immediate disqualification. 4. The Committee will not be responsible for any accident or incident to animals, persons or property. 5. The decisions of the Judges and Committee are final. 6. It is the responsibility of exhibitors to enter their ponies in the correct class or classes. 7. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by full fees. 8. ENTRY FEES are NOT refundable after the close of postal entries – even with a Doctor / Veterinary Certificate. All requests for refund must be applied for in writing. Entry fees will be refunded should the show be cancelled. 9. No trotting or cantering will be allowed in any public area, only in the designated warm up area. 10. All horses and ponies should have 3rd party and public liability insurance. 11. No Ponies may be plaited in pure bred M & M Classes. 12. Correctly secured British Standard skull caps/riding hats BS 4472 or BS 6473 or PAS 015 or latest standard must be worn at all times when mounted. 13. All children 14 years and under must wear HARD HATS when showing in-hand. 14. No loose dogs allowed on the showground/arenas. 15. Show canes/whips must not exceed 30". 16. Children must be three years old before competing in any ridden class. 17. All ponies entered in M & M classes must be registered in their respective Stud Books. Registration numbers must be stated on the entry form and with entries on the day. 18. No Litter to be left anywhere and mucking out of horseboxes/trailers in the lorry park is strictly forbidden. 19.No behavior of an offensive, abusive or unpleasant manner to any person at The East Anglia Horse Show will be tolerated. A ny act of discourtesy to any Judge, Steward or any Show Official on the part of the competitor groom, rider, driver or agent of an animal, will, at the discretion of such Official disqualify that animal from being judged, in which case entry fees, prizes and charges will be forfeited. Exhibitors are reminded of their responsibility for the actions of others within their party.

20. No person shall ill-treat animals at any time whether by misuse/excessive use of a whip, bit or any item of saddlery or in any other way whatsoever. 21. STALLIONS – in the interest of safety, stallions may only be ridden / driven / handled by persons over the age of 14 years – with the exception of Small Breeds Mountain & Moorland stallions, where the rider / handler must have attained their 12th birthday by the 1st January in the current year. Stallions are not permitted in any Young Handler, Equitation, Junior Ridden M&M, Lead Rein or First Ridden classes. Drivers of stallions must have an active, responsible adult with them at all times 22. A fall of animal or rider whilst mounted in any class will result in disqualification and they MUST leave the ring DIS-MOUNTED. If an animal gets loose from its handler whist in the ring it will also result in disqualification.
