Dates for the Calendar Remembrance Day You’re invited to join us on Monday, November 11th at 10:45 am for TPS’s Remembrance Day Assembly. In honour of Remembrance Day on November 11th, TPS will have poppies available to every student. If you would like to donate to the Poppy fund, please send your donation with your child on November 11th.

The Book Fair is back and will be open for business on Monday, November 11th through to the morning recess of Tuesday, November 19th. The Fair will be open dur-ing recess every day and after school until 3:10. The Fair will also be open during Par-ent-Teacher Interviews on Thursday even-ing and Friday morning. The Book Fair is a huge fundraiser for the TPS library each year. Money raised from sales goes to-wards the purchase of books for our li-brary! Many thanks for your support, we hope to see you at the Fair!

VISITORS This is a reminder to all visitors at our school to please park in the front laneway and sign-in at our office when you enter the building. For your children’s safety, we must know who is in our building at all times and parents are not allowed to wander our halls! Should you be bringing your child into school late, we can arrange for an escort to walk them to class. We ask that parents refrain from tak-ing their children straight to their classrooms. Thank you!

PARENT-TEACHER INTERVIEWS Parent-Teacher Interview Schedules are live on Eds-by. Please sign-in to your account and book your time slot. Interviews are being held on Thursday af-ternoon and Friday morning. Should you need a translator, please contact your child’s teacher to make arrangements. The schedule will be closed on Monday evening!

November 2019 Dear Parents, Winter is around the corner and so we would like to take this opportunity to clarify our policy on lunch service during inclement weather for your school. If the school buses are cancelled due to inclement weather and the schools are OPEN - Kid’s Kitchen lunches will still be delivered. Lunches will not automatically be cancelled due to bus cancellations. If you child is not going to school, please call us at 905-944-0210. Our regular cancellation time is 7am, but we will extend our cancellation time to 8am ONLY on the days when the buses are cancelled. Cancellations can only be accepted by PHONE. If you do not cancel lunch, it will be delivered to the school and still charged to your account. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly if you have any questions or concerns. How to Order: 1. Go online at www.lunchboxorders.com and click “ORDER LUNCH”. 2. New to Lunchbox Orders? Click “Create an Account” to register your family’s account. 3. Already registered? Please login directly with your current user name (e-mail address) and password. 4. Add your child to your account by clicking “add a student” and register your child with their new teacher and

grade for the current school year. ** Please ensure the correct teacher and grade are selected to prevent errors on delivery days.

5. Click “Order Now” (beside your child’s name) to access the school’s ordering calendar. 6. Proceed with ordering your child’s lunch by clicking on the blue box for each restaurant featured. 7. All orders are submitted on the website and payment is processed on-line by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Debit

MasterCard or Visa Debit. Visa and MasterCard prepaid cards are also accepted.

The Benefits: 1. With every meal purchased, a contribution will be made to the school’s fundraising program. 2. Lunchbox Orders is paperless and cashless. Ordering online is fast and easy! 3. All menu items featured are compliant with the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Food and Beverage Policy.

4. Orders may be placed weekly or in advance, for the full length of the program.

Things to Remember:

New orders must be placed by Sunday at 12pm (NOON) for the following week.

Orders will not be accepted after the Sunday deadline.

Cancellations will be accepted two (2) days prior to delivery.
