with incredible vistas as you wander through larch

forest and then climb to the alpine lake Lech

Parom. Here, the vast and majestic Fanes

upland and prairies gradually turn to sheer

vertical rock faces, surrounded by the stunning

peaks of the Dolomites. It is possible to avoid the

steep climb by taking a more gradual trail and

there is also the possibility to descend to Val di

Medesc through a narrow and stony channel

bringing you to La Crusc. The last stretch of your

walk crosses the Armentara with its wide

meadows which are characteristic of this region.

Return to Val Badia where you can enjoy some of

the delicious local specialties, including carne

salada and polenta.

beneath Passo Poma, cross wide prairies with

exceptional views of the peaks of Puez-Odle

National Park and the Fanes massif

Descend back to La Valle-Wengen through the

Seres Valley, where you’ll see a succession of

ancient watermills. If you wish, it is possible to

shorten the trail by around 3km by taking an

alternative route. Take the direct bus back to La

Valle.
