The Church The People of GodEvery Person Belongs To GodMade in His image (Gen 1:26-28).We have dominion over His works (cf. Psa 8).To us, Jesus Christ revealed God (Matt 11:27; John 1:18; 14:9; Col 1:15; Heb 1:1-3).To us, the Holy Spirit revealed Gods will (John 14:25-26; 15:26-27; 16:13; 1 Cor 2:10-13).

What is Gods purpose for us?Not to fulfill His need (Acts 17:24-25).Seek Him (Acts 17:26-27; Heb 11:6; Ro 10:17).Glorify & thank Him (Rom 1:21-22).Return His love (1 John 4:7-10; Mt 22:36-40).Keep His commandments (1 John 2:3-5).

Our nature serves Gods purposeGod created man to be a self-conscious, self-controlling being (Gen 1:26).Gods sovereignty will be vindicated on the Judgment Day (2 Cor 5:10).

Our nature serves Gods purposeHow do we know that man has the power to choose his destiny?God has the power of choice (Exo 32:7-14) & were made in His image.God shows no partiality (Deut 10:17; Ezek 18:19-24; Acts 10:34-35; Rom 2:11; Eph 6:9).

Our nature serves Gods purposeWhat does God want us to do with our free-will? do all to the glory of God in the name (authority) of Christ (1 Cor 10:31; cf. Col 3:17).deny self, take up cross & follow (Matt 16:24).Devote your free-will to His service & purpose.
