We Indian Muslims need not live in this country withdespair, panic, fear and intimidation. Although conspiracies arebeing devised to make circumstances in the country unfavourablefor the Muslims, these will not bear fruits, if and only if, we makeourselves true Muslims to the extent that our enemies are utilisingtheir stamina in our enmity. If we Muslims utilise all ourresources in strengthening our faith, being steadfast onrighteousness, articulating pure and high etiquettes, upholdingIslamic values and culture and be pure and impeccable indealings, then no unholy mechanism of the enemy shall succeed.

We shall certainly continue to live in this country as we aredoing today and in fact our future shall be better than our past. As thecommunal elements spend their energy, I am of the opinion that theyare engaged in promoting their humiliation, degradation andhollowness. We are accustomed to misjudging out of innocence dueto which we quickly succumb to anxiety, intimidation, panic andfear. Instead of falling prey to all these negative and hazardous traitsand being influenced by the few apparent scenarios of the country,we ought to consider whether we give importance to the communalelements or to the instructions of the holy Quran that provide usencouragement to open the minds and teach the talent to live withpeace, courage, security, unity, Islamic ethos and self-determination.

In verse number 120 of Surah Ale Imran, Allah has statedthe fact: If you adopt patience and piousness, the plots of theenemies will not harm you at all.

In the present untold circumstances of India, the best wayto remain insulated of the impure conspiracies of the enemies isthat we strictly adhere to our faith, remain firmly patient on theunfavourable circumstances and adhere to commands of Shariat

that we are being prevented from following and instead ofnurturing the fear of the enemies, create the fear of Lord in ourhearts. The wealth of patience and the radiance of piety willwreck the impure strategies of the enemies. In verse number 55 ofSurah Noor, Allah had reiterated His promise that those who havebelieved and did righteous deeds, Allah will surely grant themauthority upon the earth as He granted to those before them.

In this verse, Allah has promised authority on the basis offaith and good deeds and He has also promised to establish for themthe religion that He has chosen for them and has also promised toreplace fear with peace. Faith and pious life is the prerequisite.

Under the current situation in the country, this verseprovides us guidance and motivation. To bring about a change inthe situation, we ought to mend our deeds. If all of the twentycrore Muslims become regular in offering five-time prayers, payZakat honestly and mould their lives in accordance with thedivine commands, then the question of Muslims facing defeat orhumiliation will not arise.

In verse number 12 of Surah Maeda, Allah states: If youoffer prayers and pay Zakat and believe in My Messengers andhelp them and lend a good loan to Allah, then I will wipe out yoursins and admit you into gardens under which rivers flow.

Muslims must study the deeds mentioned in this verse andthen think about the beneficial consequence that we will become sobeloved to Allah that He will erase our sins and grant us Paradiseunder which rivers flow. When Glorious Lord bestows such blessingsto his beloved ones in the hereafter, won't He grant them triumph, glory, zenith, honour and success in this world? The need is that wedo not wait for the circumstances to change; the world is a place oftrails, we will be tested in our religion and faith. Now it is ourresponsibility to be patient under unfavourable circumstances, turn toAllah, firmly adhere to Islamic tenets and firmly hold the rope ofAllah that has been given in the form of divine revelation and adoptthe attributes of reliance and dependence on Allah and steadfastnessin faith, and then observe the transformation in situation.
