We decided to invent something that can easily clean water when it falls on the floor so that no one trips or falls. In 1893, Thomas Stewart invented a new type of mop. It was a clamping mop that could wring the water out of itself by using a lever. In 1950, Peter Vosbikian developed a sponge mop.
