STORY DEVELOPMENT

This story is about the begining o the Medusa. I researched about Greek My-

thology a lot, and I ound that the mythology reects the culture and com-

mandments o the time period. For Greek people, the gods was almighty andno one can approach to them. Also, womens rights was really poor. I a women

got raped by a man, the man has no guilty. However even though she is a

victim, the women has to be punished and go into banishment. This story was

started that point, and its kind a medusa begins.

STORY

Their was a girl. She was so pretty and so kind. She was a priestess. She worked

or Athena, the powerul god o the war and wisdom. One day, she got raped

by a god, his name is Poseidon. Unortunately, Athena saw the scene. Ath-ena got mad, because she loved Poseidon. The great goddess elt jealousy

and anger to her priestess. She didnt care who is victim and assailant. Athena

coursed her priestess and the priestess changed into a monster.

The priestess name is Medusa.

MEDUSA CONCEPT

Medusa is most amous monster in the world. She

is a powerul symbol o the evil. However, or this

project, we wanted to emphasize that Medusa is

a victim and she was week and innocent. So we

designed her wardrobe or her character.

Athenas temple is the main location othe story. The temple is places against

the big ocean, which represents Pose-idon, the god o ocean.

Its a process o the design o the temple. The temple is against the ocean and

we liked that concept, but it looks so ragile and week. So I thought it needs

something more. More powerul element to against the god o ocean.

Temple is pretty week compare with ocean. How-

ever, gigantic Athena statue can project her tem-

ple. The giant statue cover the temple with her

cloth. Now the temple looks so strong and sae.
