The expedition set off in April 2011 under the motto move the world with the Amarok as the official tour vehicle.With five expedition vehicles, the team travelled 64,452 kilometres in 111 days. The route was shaped like a giant W and led the team from Vancouver across the entire American continent to Europe, Africa, Asia and even all the way to Australia. Equippedwith all-wheel drive and off-road gear reduction, the Amarok mastered all challenges during 85 days of pure driving: journeys through the jungle, across gravel tracks, off-road trails and potholes as well as through torrential rainfall and large landslides. TheAmarok didnt let the team down in snow and ice, or when driving in up to 50 C hot desert sand.
