For usual cinema attenders and audiences, there always seems to be the
problem of small factors that seem to affect the enjoyment of the
customer.
In small focus groups I asked a few people, male and female aged 15-24
what stops them from going to a cinema and what excites them about
going to the cinema
The most popular and agreed upon answer were as follows :
1. The cinema tickets, food and drink are too expensive.
2. The overall feel and layout of the cinema is off-putting (either too small
or too big)
3. The themes of certain film series such as lord of the rings and
transformers can cause the cinema to theme out the layout of the cinema
which is entertaining.
4. When the tickets and food are at a good price, the cinema is more
enjoyable since you are getting more for your money.
5.The atmosphere and activity of going to a cinema is a good time
consuming experience.

Target Audiences for the adventure genreFrom the UK cinema statistics (http://www.cinemauk.org.uk) and my own personal research survey into the
adventure genre, I can conclude that the most popular age rating for the adventure genre is between 15-24 years
of age, specifically (from my personal research) 18-24 years of age will be the most likely to view an adventure
film.
What is so appealing about the adventure genre?

The fantasy and excitement of the story and multiple locations of the film all intertwine to create a healthy
escape from ones own reality. Being enticed by the journey simply fuels your inner child and allows the audience
to escape to a fictional world that can only be visually and artistically displayed through film.

Many advertisement techniques and forms are used to entice audiences and grow
consumer bases, many are conventional forms of advertisement such as trailers
on the T.V, internet (social networks) and posters but some take it a step further
to be that extra bit more creative and outstanding.
