Welcome15th Season.
Fifteen years ago a group of passionate theatre professionalsgot together to create an artistic home and TThhee AACCTTOORRSSCCoommppaannyy TThheeaattrree was born. “TTAACCTT”” was supported at firstby friends and family, but word-of-mouth spread: here wasa group of professional artists working together as a truerepertory company, presenting little-known plays by brilliantauthors in polished entertaining productions.
With little-to-no advertising or marketing, audiences camethen subscribed and contributed to the company. Each yearTACT’s reputation and its following grew. Now, we havebecome one of New York City's most respected and valuedOff-Broadway theatre troupes, universally praised by criticsand enjoyed by an ever-growing audience of savvy theatregoers.
This season TTAACCTT is celebrating its Fifteenth Anniversary -no small feat by any means - and we're doing it with a selec-tion of extraordinary plays. Everything that TTAACCTT is knownfor is here: wonderful, rarely seen works by accomplishedwriters; beautifully staged productions that honor the text;stellar performances by our company of actors.
Join us for this milestone year anddiscover for yourself what sets TTAACCTTapart.
