About EVS Begun in 1969 as an academic forum for global networking and technological exchange, the World Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exposition (EVS) series is recognized as the premier event for academic, government and industry professionals involved in electric drive technologies. The World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA) is proud to organize the up-coming 2015 meeting. As electric drive technology has progressed from the classroom and laboratory into the marketplace, EVS has blossomed into what is recognized as the global electric transportation industry's premier and largest forum, showcas-ing all forms of technologies in the market and on the drawing boards-from low speed battery electric vehicles to fuel cell electric buses.
