1. They assume that they can, andmust, do it all alone.(They shouldn’t.)

Entrepreneurship can certainly be a lonelyjourney but you don’t have to do it alone.

This can be a real problem for soloentrepreneurs because they are the ones withthe drive, the idea, and the vision to do whatTHEY love, and so it logically makes sense forthem to put 110% into making their “baby”grow, right?

Furthermore, “If you want a job done right thenyou’ve got to do it yourself” right?

Wrong!

It’s not sustainable.

You only have 24 hours in a day, and assumingthat you sleep, eat and go to the toilet likeeveryone else then you really only have alimited amount of time each day to geteverything done.

Now if you’re juggling a day job (part-time orfull-time), study, dating or a relationship, family time, working on your health and otherpriorities all of a sudden it’s extremely easy tospread yourself way too thin.

You won’t achieve what you set out to achievebecause you won’t have the energy, money, time or motivation to keep the hustle going.

Eventually this will lead to burn out or evenworse - giving up on the business, and yourdream that you’ve been working so hard on tomake a reality.

I’m not sure about you but the mere thought ofhaving to go back to working in a sucky job andspending 40 hours a week (or more) is simplysoul-crushing. This is many entrepreneurs’worst fear.

Tip: Review & tweak your business model.

Update it so your business is designed in a waythat you become the Captain of your ship.

If you’ve ever seen the movie “Titanic” you’llrecall there is a Captain on top of the shipsteering it, and inside the engine room thereare crewmen who are shovelling coal into thepiping hot furnace. Are you being the Captainor one of the sailors right now?

Become the Captain. (We’ll cover more aboutyour crew in a separate point below.)
