Brown County was established in 1818, becoming the first boundary lines west of the Great Lakes- thats 30 years before Wisconsin became a state! Our Brown County – The Exhibit

Our Brown County is a celebration of 200 years of history focusing on the stories

that make Brown County the place we choose to live, work, and play. Explore

these stories through 50 artifacts, 50 photographs, 50 people, and 50 places that

demonstrate the complex, diverse, and rich history of Brown County.

Brown County was established in 1818, becoming the first boundary lines west of
