RIVER GROUP Cross Country-

A team of 12 runners represented Pukekawa School at this sporting event.

The students ran well, were great sportspeople and cheered each other on.

FRANKLIN VETS – THIS WEEK will visit on 31st August 2pm to talk to our students about caring for their calf club animals. Franklin Vets generously offer free innoculations for the animals, so you are welcome to bring your animal too.

This costs $T5-00

ZE BONG tells stories and enthuses children

to be creative story tellers and writers. He

will present to the whole school at 9-00

am. After play he will facilitate Creative

Writing sessions with some of our Year 3-6

writers.

This costs $5-00 per child BUT GOOD NEWS.

Funds from selling muffins earlier this year

will help towards most of this cost.

For the shortfall, we will have a

MUFTI DAY

Students are invited to pay $2-00 to wear

mufti- something

WACKY and CREATIVE.

BASKETBALL TEAMS will be chosen this week for next

week’s tournaments.

RAFFLE TICKETS- To help with costs for Calf Club Day, the

Calf Club Committee have organised a raffle. Each family has 20

tickets to sell. More tickets are available at the School Office.
