The 7th graders spent last Thursday in Austin touring the State Capitol and the Bob Bul-lock Museum. The trip provided students with the opportunity to see and experience historical events they have been studying this year in Texas History. It was a great trip!

TCS Preschool News Preschool Summer Program 2013

For the past several years TCS has been able to offer a summer program for our preschool stu-dents. We are currently working toward another fun-filled summer of learning and play. If you are interested in this program, please contact Regina Robinson at 903-893-7076 ex. 117.

Nick Pappas

Nicholas Carlen Pappas has been a student at Texoma Christian School forthe past thirteen years. While at TCS, he has participated in soccer, Praise Team, basketball, baseball, track and field, cross country, tennis, PAC, National Honor Society and Student Coun-cil. Outside of his TCS activities, Nick enjoys leading worship and playing guitar for his church, and making memorable moments with friends that will last a lifetime.

Nick’s favorite memories of his days at TCS are winning State in soccer and every single sports van ride and making amazing memories with his friends and classmates.

The teachers who have influenced Nick the most at TCS are Science teacher, Mr. Doug Branch and History teacher/Coach, Mr. Erik Krotz. Mr. Branch for showing him how to be a true man of God, and Mr. Krotz for believing in everything Nick does and helping him to never give up on his goals.

Nick said that Head of School, Mr. Jeff Burley, has had a major impact on his life throughout his high school years. Also, Nick’s best friends, Logan Rigdon, Clayton Olmstead, Dan Leake and Brandon Handy have taught him what true friendship is and made a positive impact on his life throughout the years.

After graduation, Nick plans on attending Texas State University in San Marcos and major in Pre-Law/International Studies. He hopes to attend law school and pursue his dream of helping people in a way that will make a difference in their lives and give glory to God.

Nick’s advice to future high school seniors is, “Don’t let others mold you into something you're not. Spend time with family and friends, but always focus on your grades because they will pay off in a few years. Always know that God has a plan through every circumstance in your life.”

can be purchased for $40 through March 17th. If you would like a clear

plastic protective cover to protect your book for years to come, it will be only $2 more. Your book may also be personalized with one line of text for an additional $5 or two lines of text for an additional $8; this addition of your name adds a security feature to your book since it makes your book easily identifiable. We encourage everyone to get a name on their book as this will

limit the number of books that get lost or stolen. We are also offering the affiliation icons which may be added for an additional $4 each. Icons may be viewed by going the TCS website and clicking on the link provided. Jostens is offering up to four icons per book. These icons can only be added to books

which are personalized with a name. These will only be offered until

March 17th, after March 17th, the yearbook price will increase to $45, and

personalization options will not be available. Also, no online orders will be taken after May 1st.
