    Early Bird ended. So, what now? Ill tell you what;you can still register for summer camp! While you

    may not pay the same rate as in Early Bird, lets

    take a moment to reflect on all the ways summer

    camp will help your child grow: confidence, social

    skills, new friendships, self-

    esteem, leadership skills,

    adventure and exploration

    opportunities, ability to make

    good choices, teamwork and

    collaboration, social and

    cultural awareness,

    development of emotional

    intelligence, appreciation for

    nature, and most important, an

    appreciation for YOU! We

    can all agree that these

    benefits are priceless!! So

    Gearing up for GSU!April 19-21

    Girl Scout University (GSU) is a great event for all girls in grades 6-12 who love to explore new skills,

    hang out with older Girl Scouts from across our council and enjoy a weekend at Camp Pisgah. We

    have amazing activities lined up for you that are sure to pique your interests- from jewelry making to

    water rocket launching to Zumba and Contra dancing, we are certain you will stay engaged and

    entertained this weekend! And for those Harry Potter enthusiasts, we are offering a class where you

    will build your very own Nimbus 2000! Each girl can individually register for these sessions and class

    sign-up will be held on Friday, April 19.

    you have a deep desire to saddleup this summer, Camp Pisgah has

    the horse activity for you! We offer

    some really amazing horse

    programs for all level riders from

    beginner to advanced that are

    sure to have you begging to return

    next summer! Check out our

    offerings and sign up for the session

    that suits you best.

    Foaling Around

    This beginner program is for girlsentering grades 2-3. You will spend

    a week at the barn, grooming the

    horses and learning how to ride

    from our experienced wranglers.

    You will also explore other

    camp activities with your

    new friends and make some horse

    crafts to take home!

    Hoof Beats

    This horse program is for the

    beginning to intermediate riders

    entering grades 4-6. You will

    spend 3 hours daily at the barn,

    improving your riding skills,

    grooming and caring for Pisgah

    horses. At the end of the week,

    youll put your knowledge to the

    test as you take a trail ride through

    camp with your new HB buddies!

    Night Riders

    Another option for girls entering

    grades 4-6, this horse program

    takes place during our night week.

    So, you will sleep in and stay up

    late as you improve your riding

    skills. And the best part wait for

    it you will even go riding bymoonlight with our experienced

    wranglers!

    Junior Riding Instructors

    For our oldest girls and more

    advanced riders, this two-week

    program allows you to develop

    your riding skills and be a leader

    to younger, less experienced riders

    as you practice giving them basic

    riding lessons. Add in trail rides

    and other camp activities, and thiswill be the bet two weeks EVER!

    Adrenaline Rush II: June 16-28

    This two week high-octane, adventure

    program features ziplining, river

    tubing, whitewater rafting and hiking.

    Night Riders: July 7-12

    place during our Magic & Mysteries

    Counselor-in-Training I:

    This is a two-week program for girls

    15-16 hoping to become camp

    counselors one day. You will learn

    valuable leadership skills, support all

    areas of camp and be a positive role

    model for younger campers. There is

    only 1 spot remaining for the July 7-

    19 session (the first week is during the

    Magic & Mysteries session!!).

    Hoof Beats: June 23-28

    This program is for the young horse

    lovers in grades 4-6. Spend 3 hours

    daily at the barn, learning to ride,

    groom and care for Pisgah horses.There are 2 spots remaining this

    session.

    Llama TrekJuly 14-19

    This program is for llama llovers!

    Hang out with these furry, gentle

    giants, hike trails, create llama

    crafts and play games. After last

    weeks profile, there are only 2 spots

    remaining in this session.

    in local caves as you explore the

    world beneath us. Go hiking,

    spelunking, create dirt art and

    sleep in a cave

    NIGHT! How

    awesome is that?!

    This underground

    adventure is

    exclusively for girls

    entering grades 6-8.

    Come one, come all, little

    Brownies! This program is for

    our youngest campers looking

    to explore a little bit of every-

    thing at camp this summer. You

    will play with the goats at the

    petting farm, go swimming and

    boating, learn new games and

    camp songs, create crafts to

    take home and have a jolly ole

    time with your cabin mates!

    For our young explorers and

    naturalists, this mini-adventure

    session lets you get down and

    dirty! Hang out at the lake to

    do some creek-stomping explo-

    ration to learn about the natural

    world around camp. And when

    youve had enough soggy,

    muddy fun, you can swim, play

    games, make nature crafts and

    do many other activities withyour doodle buddies!

    Have you ever wanted to hang

    out with a llama? How about

    goats and a pot-belly pig? In

    this session you will spend some

    quality time with our camp ani-

    mals at the petting farm. You

    will also make animal masks in

    the art room and go for a pony

    ride at the barn. Then, of

    course, you will experience the

    rest of what camp has to offer;

    from the pool, to our games, to

    the nighttime activities.

    We at Camp Pisgah knowhow hard it is to find a kid-

    summer vacation. At Family

    Camp, you will meet

    people from all over, enjoy

    campfires, practice your

    archery skills, swim, boat on

    our lake, and enjoy

    Are you entering 1st to 3rd grade, and are looking for something exciting to do thats just for kids like you?

    Well, lets turn the spotlight to the summer programs that we made just for YOU!

    Dont let the pink fool you! This

    program is for older girls, grades

    8-12 who like to channel their

    inner Sporty Spice. Have some

    muddy fun with other teens as you

    explore a variety of adventuresports. Go fly fishing, target

    practice with a sling shot, practice

    your archery skills, ride a

    motorbike and play paintball. You

    know what they say; girls just

    wanna have fun!

    Hello! My name is Sci-Fi! I've been a GirlScout and a camper for 12 years, and this willbe my first year as staff at Camp Pisgah! I love

    to meet new people, and I hope to be a highschool English teacher one day. I like to singand dance (even though Im not very good ateither) and I love sloths, Harry Potter, colorfulsunglasses, friendship bracelets, and tacos. Thissummer is gonna be so much fun, I cant wait!

    My name is Grevling, and I am going

    to be the Program Director this

    summer! This will be my 19th summer

    at Pisgah, my 6th on staff, and my

    1st on the admin team. Although I

    am from Brevard, I'm currently

    living in London and volunteering at

    one of the Guiding and Scouting

    World Centres - Pax Lodge. My

    favorite things to do are read and

    play Quidditch, which, as many

    campers will know, is obviously the

    best sport ever. I am really looking

    forward to making this year unique and

    amazing, and I hope you're all excited too!
