The Institute under the auspices of Department of Youth Affairs & Sports organized Summer Coaching Camps in different games

th thduring summer vacations from 7 May to 20 June, 2010 for the children of Greater Gwalior. There was total participation of 2119 children in as many as following 20 games/sports:-

During the year of report, 52 PG students and 25 Ph.D. scholars have completed their research work in the Institute. The results of these studies are used by the Physical Education Teachers, Coaches and Administrators etc. to promote Physical Education and Sports in country.

Presently, 8 Ph.D. Scholar are continuing their Research Work, out of which, 6 scholars are JRF holder.

Committee of Parliament on Official Language held a discussion with Town Official Language Implementation Committee, Gwalior on 23.12.2010 involving 15 organization members from Gwalior including this Institute. The Institute submitted the detailed inspection questionnaire regarding use of Hindi in the Institute duly filled in for the purpose and participated in the discussion on 23.12.2010 through the Registrar.

In order to propagate use of Official Language, th thRajbhasha Week was celebrated from 14 to 20 September 2010

for its administrative officers and officials. Various competitions like Essay Writing, Translation of official words (English to Hindi), Poem Writing were organized during this week. The Vice Chancellor gave away the prizes to the winners and all the participants were honoured with the prizes at the Valedictory Function of Rajbhasha Week on 20.9.2010.

The Institute participated in the meetings of Town Official Language Implementation Committee, Gwalior held on 22.4.2010 and 26.10.2010.

The Institute organized meetings of Departmental Official Language Implementation Committee on 25.06.2010, 20.09.2010, 15.12.2010 and 24.03.2011 during the year of Report.
