The Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) is the Fédération Interna-tionale de Volleyball (FIVB) supporting institution responsible for governing 56 National Federations throughout Europe and is recognised as such by the FIVB.
The CEV has the authority and
responsibility for organizing all European
competitions in Volleyball, Beach Volleyball
and Snow Volleyball.

The key component of this project is to create a graphic identity that will best represent the CEV while maintaining consistency among all the CEV events.
The companies are invited to pitch original, innovative, modern and cohesive ideas and concept to:

Each discipline (Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, and Snow Volleyball) as well as other corporate events should have a specific concept while giving the consistency to the new CEV identity.

Deliverables include:

• Logos proposals for various events under the umbrella of CEV as specified further.
• Design Concept outline and basic storyboard in pdf.
• Logos in print graphic file formats.
• Look Book draft in PDF, introducing key visual elements (see appendix 1) that would create a unified look of the competition. These key components should follow the basic concept of logos.
• Proof of availability for possible registration as trademarks.
• The logos shall present a concept convenient for other, future possible new products.
• 2 or 3 design concepts for review are welcomed.
• Finalising and completion of logos for various events under the umbrella of CEV as specified further;
• Delivery of logos based on timeline specified and agreed further.
• All Logos in print graphic multiple file formats (vectors, bitmap) and colour spaces Pantone, CMYK, RGB,
• Logos for Digital Media (web, social media)
• Onscreen Logos (i.e. bug, break bumpers)
• Full Brand Book with full design elements that would create a unified look of the competition. These key components (background and graphical elements) should follow the concept of the logo and its specific features shall be presented on all promotional materials (inside and outside of venue, online, print, city etc);
• Proof of availability for possible registration as trademarks.

• Logos will be used and viewed in both landscape and
portrait formats and at a various size and resolutions.
• Logos must be suitable to work as an avatar / icon on
all devices (tablet, phones, etc.) and remain visually
strong and clear against all other logos.
• Logos have to be created in a simple and modern
design, referring to the CEV as the supreme European
volleyball institution.
• Logos must be suitable for registration as trademarks.
• Logos should include a specific colour palette.
• Logos have to be consistent but unique for:
a. National Team Events
i. Volleyball
ii. Beach Volleyball
iii. Snow Volleyball
b. Clubs Events
c. Institutional Events
• Particular attention shall be given to the most elite
competitions (futher labeled with ).
• Logos for Final Phases shall be adaptable with the
option to reflect

THE PROCESS
The CEV invites interested agencies and qualified graphics designers to submit a written proposal (Phase 1) no later than on
The hired agency will be responsible for developing a more detailed schedule for the whole project (Phase 1 and Phase 2) delivery that includes key milestones.
This proposal is expected to include the following information:
31 July 2018.
Your experiences of conducting similar projects e.g. examples of relevant pro-jects you have undertaken and relevant clients. Ideally we would want to see evidence of work done for your clients.
PROOF OF QUALIFICATION
Details of your recommended team to deliver the proposal, their expertise and experience.
TEAM
The full phase 1 project as described above taking in consideration the content of the phase 2.
A timeframe proposal of delivering, showing how much time wil be spent on various aspects of scope, including designing process, consultations, production and finalising.
A full project budget breakdown, including expected number of days on the project at each phase and stage in regard of respective key outputs (logos, guidelines, marketing material, publication templates, etc.) Please note that cost will be a core consideration for the CEV in the selection of its preferred agency.

The tenderer involvement in the tender content terminates, without notice, upon appointment of another tenderer as winner of the tender.

Application Costs
Each applicant is responsible for the costs and expenses which are payable in connection with this process. The CEV will not under any circumstances contribute towards any such costs and expenses.

English is the language used for this tender. Any informa-tion or documentation not in English are submitted with an official or certified translation.
Evaluation of Applications
The contract is awarded based on the tender that offers the best value. To assess which tender offers the best value, a panel of the CEV representatives will evaluate and score the responses to this project, in accordance with the follow-ing criteria and weightings:
• Creative Concept
• originality, creativity and how they fit in with
the requests, feasibility of its implementation
and overall impression;
• Strong visual (memorable unique, identifiable visual
elements);
• How the proposal complies with CEV’s requirements;
• Consistancy (desired effect), Differentiation (unique-
ness) and Flexibility (change and growth in future);
• Affordability (budget and structure).

Notification
Any notice, request, decision or other information is notified in writing. It is either sent by post, email, or delivered per-sonally; electronic communication is preferred. The sender shall be able to evidence the receipt.
IP
The CEV is the exclusive owner of the author’s right and related rights for each, any and all literary or artistic works arising during the tender process. In case a literary or artis-tic work or related rights is considered by law as a work of joint authorship between the CEV and the Candidate or as a work of the latter, all author’s rights and related rights of the Candidate are irrevocably granted to the CEV.
The CEV is the exclusive owner of each, any and all signs ca-
pable of being represented graphically, inventions, discov-eries, processes, ideas, methods, ornamental or aesthetic aspect of an item and know-how arising during the tender process. The tenderer supports the CEV in applying and obtaining patents, designs and trademarks. The tenderer refrains for obtaining for itself any rights for these items.
Cancellation of tender / Change
The CEV is entitled to change the conditions or cancel the tender at any time.
Jurisdiction and dispute settlement
In case of a dissension during the tender process, settle-ment of such dissension will be managed on a friendly way. After 90 days and in case there is no friendly settlement, the dissension shall be settled according to the rules of arbitration of the Arbitration Centre of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce by three arbitrators appointed
in accordance with said rules; with the Law of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg as governing law.
Agreement
The winning proposal shall be confirmed by a signature of an agreement, clarifying the further process and imple-mentation of the tender winning project.
Public communication
The CEV will announce the winner after agreement with the winner. No other public announcements or communi-cation with other contenders about the tender process or results shall be done by neither party involved.
Personal data protection
The CEV may process personal data provided by the ten-derer solely for the purposes of the management of the tender. The CEV will provide each individual with required information at a later stage; in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations.
Confidentiality
The entire tender process is confidential until announce-ment of the winner.
