• INTEGRATION AND PLATFORMSCreation of platforms for joint research : Creation of an infrastructure that will allow better interaction and collaboration between European specialists with complementary expertise.

This will allow for easier evaluation/comparison/combination of different technologies.

• Two partners per platform (total of 6 partners for the 3 above platforms) dedicate part-time their own engineering staff to manage the integration work.

 • The 6 partners holding these part-time engineer positions are:

• Hudiksvall field trial– Planning meetings held, including visits by partners to site (M1.1) and

meeting with one external industrial (contact with second company also made)

– Initial review of planned contributions taking place (M1.5)

• Upgrades of testbeds– OFDM testbed – ADS software, PER estimation, high-speed sampling

– WLAN over MMF testbed – multiple RAUs and APs

– WLAN over SMF testbed – long-distance capable APs

• Use of testbeds– Restricted to testing and use by partner holding testbed (although part of joint research);
