These students are wearing to pedometers to track their steps. We should walking 10,000 steps a day!
A sample lesson Fitness Testing:
Crunch Test: How many crunches can you do in 1 min.use a stop watch and students partner up)
Push Up Test: How many push-ups can you do before failure? Partner Up

With this data written on a piece of paper from the gym, now insert it into the spreadsheet in the computer lab.
This could also be a Webquest project.
Now research what a person your age should do to get an increase in fitness. Set 1 short term and 1 long term goal to help achieve better fitness.
Take the fitness test again at the end of the year and plot the improvements.
