Team Based Learning (TBL)

AimsTo introduce participants to an effective instructional strategy that allows a single teacher to teach through conducting multiple small groups simultaneously in the same large class.
Learning OutcomesThis session is designed to give staff the opportunity to:
• Explore the basic concepts of TBL and the role of the TBL facilitator
• Recognise the utility of TBL in teaching the application and integration of knowledge
• Recognise the utility of TBL in providing students with opportunities to practice aspects of professionalism, including communication, problem solving, social interaction, and peer evaluation
