This report synthetizes the main outcomes from Thematic Event 4, which is part of a series of four thematic events from Intensify Project, aiming to promote exchange of experiences and knowledge among the partners. Specifically this fourth thematic event aimed to discuss and foster learning and reflection on different issues: > What models exist of community engagement platforms (digital

or not)? How to decide whether to “go digital”? > How to plan and implement a Platform (digital or not)? > How to pay for it e.g. via Financial Instruments (Theme 3)? > Could a Platform be jointly specified or procured, either between

INTENSIFY partners or with non-INTENSIFY collaborators (e.g. a region)?

The discussions around these main issues were structured on a collaborative workshop, that allowed participants to identify, among other things: >What is a DSP and the importance of complementary non-digital approaches, >Good DSP practices, >Developing a DSP / Non-digital platform structure for their own purposes Four presentations from external experts (both in person and remote) inspired the discussions, combined with shared dynamic and interactive group exercises, that provided participants with knowledge, sharing of experiences and content/concept creation. Each partner was also asked to prepare a set of future actions (‘To-Do’ lists) and elaborate on the good practices register and evaluate how the 4 Thematic Events will feed into the next stage of the Interregional Learning program and the preparation of the Regional Action Plans.
