• The laser was selected to provide superior orifice and repeatable release profile of the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API).

• Processing speeds up to 70,000 tablets per hour for bi-layer, bi-color tablets

• CMS will provide the software that allows for compliance to CFR 21 part 11 concerning electronic signatures and audit logs. CMS will provide the support and documentation to the Validation Group for the performance of the IQ, OQ, and PQ tests.

• Flexible System: A large range of tablet sizes run on a single system with a minimal change in parts; typically less than 30 minutes.

• Standard orifice sizes range from 0.2mm-2.0mm. Orifice size is programmable. Smaller and larger orifices are available.

• The handling design and the capabilities of the CMS system will allow the customer to drill multiple orifices per side of tablet should they choose.

• An option is available to mark tablets during the drill process with a single presentation to the laser. This will allow the end customer the opportunity to include an anti-counterfeit mark in the semi permeable coating.

• Integrated ionizers for ESD control• Integrated oscilloscope and remote-diagnostics• CMS Laser tablet drilling systems meet all criteria listed
