A Message from the PrincipalWelcome back to South Bend Riley and our 2015-2016 sports season. As your principal, I, like you, am looking forward to an exciting year. Our student athletes have put in countless hours over the summer, preparing to represent the “Pride of the South Side.” To all of you athletes, we are extremely proud of your efforts and how you have and will conduct yourselves. We are proud whether you are performing on the field,

courts, links or classroom. Continue to strive for excellence and allow yourself to be molded by caring coaching staffs.

Jenny Dyszkiewicz - Team TrainerJenny Dyszkiewicz lives in South Bend with her husband, James, and her son, Jordan. She attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science. She furthered her education at Indiana State University where she obtained her Masters degree in Athletic Training. She is certified as an Athletic Trainer through

the NATABOC and is licensed by the State of Indiana. She is employed at Memorial Hospital’s Memorial Sports Medicine Institute.

Jenny will see your child if he or she is injured, and she will contact you if she feels that further medical attention is needed. If you or your child has any questions about any injury, you may stop by or call Jenny in the training room at 574-283-8548.

Jill Tirabassi - Sports Medicine FellowHello! My name is Jill Tirabassi and I will be the sports medicine fellow for the 2015-2016 school year. I’m originally from Syracuse, NY where I played soccer, volleyball, and lacrosse in high school. I attended Cornell University for college where I studied nutritional sciences and was a 4 year member of the varsity soccer team. I went back to medical school in Syracuse at SUNY Upstate Medical University and even got to spend some time at the Centers for Disease Control and travel to Alaska for a wilderness medicine rotation. I did my family medicine residency at the University of Colorado and enjoyed our ski clinic rotation and doing research for the Leadville 100 mile ultramarathon race. As you can tell, nutrition, exercise and healthy lifestyles are important to me and in the care of my patients. I hope to be both a sports and family medicine physician after I’ve completed my fellowship, taking care of all ages and athletes. Outside of work, I enjoy many sports and outdoor activities as well as gardening, trivia and traveling. I look forward to working at Riley this year! Go wildcats!

The Riley Athletic Boosters serves as a support organization for Riley Athletics. Our goal is to support our athletic teams through equipment purchase, Berta scholarships, advance level competition needs and other monetary needs.
