whether the boy is acceptable to the family and relatives of the girl.

Pagpangasawa asking for the hand in

marriage

Pagturul Taimah which means to follow

the acceptance.

Pagtiayun the formal wedding. Also called “Pagkawin”

or “Kawin Nika”
