The UAE is not a nation, it is the world in a nation, said His Highness ShaikhMohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of theUAE and Ruler of Dubai.

In a statement to the Dubai Government Media Office on the occasion of theUAE winning the bid to host the World Expo 2020, Shaikh Mohammadexpressed his pride at the huge response to the World Expo 2020 votingprocess that took place in Paris on November 27, noting that the event wasclosely followed by the world through various media networks.

Shaikh Mohammed said: The UAEs win brought happiness to every Emiratiand residents home, adding that they celebrated the accomplishment side by

side with Emiratis by hanging the UAE flag on the roofs and doors of theirhomes, their cars, as well as expressing their joy through tweets and socialmedia websites.
