Task 5 Planning

   Title ideas: DownTown, PULSE, Trend Case, The Originals.   Colour Schemes:

    Music  -I will talk about the latest music awards -Celebrities with their new hit songs -I will add pictures which are clear as well as bold -The target audience will be aimed at teenagers of both genders -I can include the latest music video -Top chart -I will also be talking about concerts that may be coming up -I will take about gossip between the celebrities  Fashion  -I will be talking about the latest trends -There will be images of the latest models -I will be talking about fashion aimed not only and women but men as well -There will be a box for accessories as well as shoes and other fashionable items e.g. hand bags 

Sports  

- It will mainly be aimed at men’s football - Talking about the latest football match

Interactive features  For my interactive features i will have a navigation tool and a save and print tool so that if the viewer finds something interesting than he/she can print it off or save it for later. As well as this there will be arrows on the bottom of the pages for the viewer to be able to go forward and backwards.    

Feedback I went around the classroom asking feedback from my peers about the colour schemes an which one they liked, most of them liked the third one due to how catchy and bright the colours are and the fact that both men and women would be able to play a role in it. Not only this but they also liked my sense in fashion from the images that i have shown really reflected the type of style/clothes that i’m interested in. As to sports and music they also liked the singers/songs that im going to talk about and all the gossip within the celebrities and the football players that i’m going to be writing about. As to the title all of the examples that i wrote down was very eye catching, bold and exciting, most of the students preferred Trend Case and DownTown.  

My target audience  My target audience is teenagers from the age of 14-16 both male and female, this newspaper is mainly aimed on 3 topics which are music, fashion and sports. Stereotypically music is seen to attract the attention of both gender, fashion is aimed at females while sports is aimed at males, due to this i believe that both genders would be very interested in a type of newspaper that not only will entertain them but will interest them in many ways. The colours that i will be using are bright and eye catching so at first sight the audience would be eager to take a look at it in order to see what its about. I will be featuring images based on fashion, celebrities and football players, i will be naming my newsletter DownTown as it has a nice click to it and can make the audience curious of what it will be about as the title can be about anything. My peers found my ideas very interesting as i was planning on using a theme when it comes to the topic fashion to make it different and unique, they also found my title very compelling yet simple and plain.         

                    

          

                  I wanted my front cover to be simple and i didnt want to add too much writing as it’s the first page the audience sees and has to be appealing, the next page is music as its interesting for both genders and has music clips to listen to, the first page is the fashion page and has more images as it needs to have more choices as everyone has their own style, however there is still a small section of writing mainly talking about clothes and styles, underneath each item of clothing there will be a ‘add to basket’ section if the audience is interested in it. My last page it’s based on sports and footballers with many images and has an information box focusing on gossip between footballers for example Jesse Lingard.
