Theme or focus of images Firstly there is picture one, which was Bestival in isle of Wight, it is an interesting image showing a entrance to a stage with a couple of people in front, the lighting from the lights make the whole photo look bright even though the sun is about to go down, or even come up.

Picture Two is set at Staiths South Bank, Gatehsead. This image is quick good; the positing of the photographer makes the image have all of the other side of the bank with all its lights and shows off how beautiful the lake looks.

Picture Three is the well known Gateshead Millennium Bridge, it also makes it appearance in the smash hit reality TV show Geordie shore, that how I recognised the

building. This is also like the previous one because the water is still making it look calm.

Picture Four shows a room with a couple of pupils, at Jesmond Gardens Primary, Hartlepool. This image is good because of the effect he uses when the pupils are like ghosts not fully there making the image interesting to look at.

Then we have picture Five which is indoor water park, mostly attracted for children but also adults so they could maybe plan on going as a family holiday and the place it is at is, Haven Point, South Shields. This themes seems to have quite alot of near water shots for some of them making it easy to spot his work.

Finally we have picture Six which is similar to picture four but it is empty but still very modern with the furniture that is presented. This location was Hudson's Quay, Middlesbrough, the colours match well with the wood making it a piece to be pleased about.

Composition

For this it is similar composition to previous analysis because of similar photography, it shows abit of the place but not all the place for example on picture four it chosen that room maybe because it was the reception or the place you’d need to go to ask questions in the school but also then there are is picture five, why did he pick that water slide, maybe it was well recommended by visitors or it could of just been appealing to him.

Techniques used

A slow shutter speed was used in picture one and four, picture one shows a festival so maybe the photographer wanted to capture the atmosphere in the festival by using a slow shutter speed and also picture four is a school maybe he used it on that one to show that the school is spirited and has life they could have ranged from around 1/60f to about 1/15f, rule of thirds can’t really see it because the images shows alot. Then finally depth of field is does show it abit focusing on the main attraction the architect if you want to be more precise.

Strengths & WeaknessesStrengths- it is well positioned they look very professional and not amateur like some other photographers, makes me want to visit the locations.

Weaknesses- Could have made the messages more clearly for people who wouldn’t understand where the buildings come from straight away without looking at the captions.
