My name is Tao Xiong and I am a senior undergraduate student majoring in Microelectronics in the School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, Peking University. I am writing to you to seek opportunities of working with you for my graduate education and I have submitted my application to Northwestern University.

My research interest focuses on utilizing Micro/Nano fabrication technology to design and manufacture device or system to seek solutions for novel applications, and I am indeed very interested in your research. My previous research focused on the optoelectronic device for retina prosthesis and I have submitted a paper based on this project, which has been published on Applied Physics Letters.
