Set your zoom level to 75% (if possible). This is ensure all content appears on the screen as intended (reduces scrolling). 2. Close other applications (Outlook, Lync, etc.). 3. TECHNICAL NOTES TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETING THE COURSE IN TMS:

When you first launch the course in TMS, it is recommended that you:

Description: This introductory online course will provide non-clinical staff within the Mental Health area an overview to Mental Health and Recovery. Non-clinical staff who work in Mental Health areas or who are in contact with Veterans who receive Mental Health services have a vital part in the Veteran’s treatment. While VHA mandated that all Mental Health treatment be recovery oriented in 2008, there are still staff who struggle with providing this level of service. They may not know resources and tools for working successfully with this population. Learners will be able to identify facts related to Mental Health Recovery; outline the 10 components of Mental Health Recovery; discuss at least one VA practice associated with Mental Health Recovery; and explain at least one impact of using stigmatizing language.
