Title: LAN-BASED TIMEKEEPING AND PAYROLL SYSTEM USING BIOMETRICS FOR BLANCO FAMILY ACADEMY

In requirements as a graduating student the proponents create

this Thesis entitled LAN-Based Time keeping and Payroll for Blanco

Family Academy. This system is hassle free in recording the time

keeping record of the employees by using Biometrics that rely to

automated and computerizes Payroll.

The proponents’ interest to conduct an investigation has led

them to understand the payroll system of Blanco Family Academy

present problems such as what are the common problems encountered

by the accounting staff of Blanco Family Academy in terms of using

their manual system in processing payroll and time keeping how it will

help the accounting staff in terms of the generating payroll

transaction, easy

Way timekeeping using biometrics, secure all payroll records,

calculating and generate all payroll reports.

The study deals with a proposal for a LAN-Based Timekeeping

and Payroll using Biometric for Blanco Family Academy. The objective

of the study was aimed to help the Blanco Family Academy to have an

efficient and effective way of Employees Time Keeping and Payroll

System using biometrics to give a higher quality of service and to:

1.) Develop a system that will improve the Blanco Family Academy’s

operation in the Timekeeping and Payroll.

2.) To develop a system that will monitor employee’s data that is

efficient to use.

3.) To use biometrics tool (Fingerprint scanner) that will provide an

easy log-in and log-out of the employees and staff.

4.) Secure the records of employees and to have more manageable

files.

5.) Easy Calculation of Payroll Transaction and Summarize all the

Deducted Contribution of Employees.

FINDINGS

According to the results, the organization must adopt the

developed system because it will be a great help for the School

especially to the personnel who manage the employee transaction

when it comes into the payroll processes because of its module

timekeeping using a biometrics for their time logs and payroll system

for the computations of employee’s salary.
