WELCOME LETTER

2

Dear colleagues,We are pleased to invite you to the “FENS Featured Regional Meeting 2015” which will takeplace on October 7-10 in Thessaloniki, Greece. The conference is organized jointly by theHellenic, Serbian and Israel Neuroscience Societies. The three Neuroscience Societies will have the opportunity to come together for the firsttime, enhance their relationships and represent themselves to an international audience. Wehave worked closely together to prepare a highly attractive scientific program reflectingexcellence in research in the three countries. This international environment will enable students, young investigators and renownedscientists around the globe to share their research and exchange ideas. FFRM2015 will allow young researchers to present their work along with their moreexperienced colleagues, and have the opportunity to meet the experts of their field. TheFFRM2015 will “nourish” young scientists in a European region where this is most needed. After all, Thessaloniki is the European Youth Capital City for 2014, but also the cradle forGreek, Serbian and Israeli cultures for centuries. We will devote all of our efforts to make the FFRM2015 in Thessaloniki a memorableconference building on the high standards achieved in Warsaw, Ljubljana and Prague. We look forward to seeing you in Thessaloniki.
