All state and federal laws must be obeyed. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. Entry fee is $100.00 per boat (2 people per boat), $10.00 per boat Big Bass pot (optional). Registration will begin at 5:30 am. Blast-off will be at 7am and weigh-in will be at 4pm at Cabot Landing. All contestants must be in sight of the landing by 4 pm. Blast-off order will be determined by picking numbers by 6:40 AM. All teams must check-in prior to blast-off, obtain a blast-off number and a boat marker. A limit of 5 fish per team will be weighed, measuring a minimum of 12 inches or greater, penalty for short fish is 1 pound, no courtesy checks. We will not weigh dead fish. All fish must be taken with rod and reel on artificial lures, trolling is not permitted. In the event of a tie, big bass breaks big stringer tie and big stringer breaks big bass tie. This is a catch and release tournament, all fish should be returned to the water asap. No more than 5 fish will be allowed in the live well at any time. All boats should have working running lights and a kill switch. No contestant is allowed to fish within 50 yards of a competing boat that is tied or anchored unless permission is granted. All contestants must wear a coast guard approved life vest while the main engine is in gear. Interpretation and enforcement of all rules will be the sole responsibility of the LA Bass Cats Board of Directors. Any protests must be made within 15 minutes of the last weigh-in and must be in writing. All boats must have liability insurance. A.L.B.C. rules apply Louisiana Bass Cats - Entry and Release of Liability Form Tournament Rules In consideration of accepting this entry, I/We the undersigned intending, to be legally bound, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for losses and damages, I may have against LA Bass Cats, and any other individuals and associations taking part in the tournament referred herein above, their officers, committee members, sponsors, representatives, successors and assigns for any and all injuries suffered by me in the 2016 Invitational Tournament held out of Cabot Landing on February 14, 2016. I attest and verify that I am physically fit to maintain, run and operate all equipment used herein. Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and forgoing, to use the photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever. NO ONE MAY ENTER THIS EVENT WITHOUT SIGNING THIS OFFICIAL WAIVER.
