Mestre Peixe Message

In your capoeira journey, you must remain a positive ap-proach, the reason is that many researches have shown that it is much more beneficial to think positive, and the logical

behind this is that your mind does not process negatives, for example the thought “I better not get kicked by that meia lua de compasso”, and guess what your mind is going to

focus on? “get kicked by that meia lua de compass”. The positive approach is basically to focus

on what you want to achieve, not what you want to avoid.Therefore the thought should be “ I better esquiva!”. This

mental practice could also elaborated into everyday life, be positive and you will be more likely to attract

positivity, so smile to the world and it will smile at you.

Mestre Boneco LA Event 2012

Mestre Boneco’s Events are always full of energy, sense of family and community, this year goes without saying. It was Heartwarming to see Mestre Boneco’s team is continuously growing stronger, there are no words can fully express the unbreakable bond and love between him and his students, each batizado he looks at each and every one of them, the smile on Mestre Boneco’s face is the expression a father has for his children, the joy to see the growth of the seeds that he has the privilege to plant and nurture. Congratulations to all the new higher belts who have grown from a seed to a strong, fundamentally well-based, tall tree that can create shade for the Mestre to rest, for he is tired from caring all the seeds; also share the privilege and responsibility of protecting the seedlings who are still in need of guidance.

Malandro Roda is taking world by storm! Everywhere in the world where capoeira batizado event is happening, Malandro Roda will not far from it, Mestre Peixe revived this concept in 2010 Batizado in 2010 and since then all the guest Mestres who have experienced it in Sydney do Malandro roda in their events, Mestre Boneco also utilize this tradition to educate his stu-dents of what capoeira was like back in the days in Bimba’s time.

Darling Harbor Fiesta 2012 Capoeira Performances and ParadesCelebrating 21 years of Fiesta in Darling Harbor, Mestre Peixe Team has entertained the spectators in Darling Harbor with their amazing performances and energy, he collaborated his intensive workshops and annual Capoeira Festival with the Darling Harbor Fiesta for many years.Mestre Peixe’s Capoeira Demostrations, Capoeira Drummers, Carnivale and Puppeteer Parades are big contributions to the celebration of the Latin culture since 1992.
