BACKGROUND:Base Wisteria, using Paint Adhesion Medium in your first base-coat. Dampen edges and float opposing sides with Violet Haze using #16 shader, painting on edges of shades. Dry; repeat, doing other sides. Swirls: Thin Purple Rain with water and pull swirls with liner. I added Dazzling Metallics Purple Pearl on top of each swirl. Add some Purple Pearl on the fabric edges. Using highlighter, dry-brush Banana Cream here-and-there along outside edge. Also dry-brush Banana Cream here-and-there, in between swirls.

MoonBase Banana Cream. Highlight front edge and eyelid with Warm White. Shade back with Violet Haze, walking color toward center; repeat, using Purple Rain, but not walking out as far. Lips: Thin Violet Haze and paint in with filbert brush. Highlight top and fronts of each lip with Warm White. Very lightly outline with Graphite + Violet Haze (approx. 1:1). Eyelid: Add line and lashes with Graphite. Cheek: Pick up Wisteria on dry Highlighter brush, take excess out on palette, then apply to cheek area; repeat, picking up Violet Haze on dirty brush and leaving a “halo” of first color showing around the second color; repeat, picking up Purple Rain on dirty brush.

HeartsUsing filbert brush for large heart and #2 round for small hearts, base with Natural Buff. Pick up Natural Buff on dry Highlighter brush, take out excess on palette, pick up Warm White on dirty brush, take out excess, and tap in highlights, a little to the right of center; repeat, picking up more Warm White in dirty brush, making this high-light a little smaller, leaving a “halo” of first color showing around; repeat as many times as you want to brighten highlight. Shade all around hearts with Violet Haze, walking color on left toward center; repeat, using Purple Rain, but not walking as far. Outline the hearts with Purple Rain. Chain: Thin a brush-mix of Graphite + Violet Haze + Warm White and add chain from tip of moon to center of heart, making small “S” shapes. Adjust this color as necessary to show against your background. Pick up more Warm White on dirty brush and add highlight to each rounded area of “S”.

Lettering (on plaque): Line in with a brush-mix of Wisteria and Warm White (approx. 1:2).

FINISHINGI “painted” Gold Glitz Glitter Paint on the moon and Celebration Pink on the hearts and background.
