per skein): 7 skeins cream #441 • Size 6 (4mm) 24-inch circular

Gauge 20 sts = 4 inches/10cm in St st

Pattern Stitches Seed Stitch (even number of sts)Row 1 (RS): *K1, p1, rep from * across.

Row 2: *P1, k1, rep from * across.

Rep Rows 1 and 2 for seed st pat.

Milanese Lace (multiple of 6 sts + 2)Row 1 (RS): K1, *k4, k2tog, yo, rep from *, end k1.

Row 2: P1, *yo, p1, p2tog, p3, rep from *, end p1.

Row 3: K1, *k2, k2tog, k2, yo, rep from *, end k1.

Row 4: P1, *yo, p3, p2tog, p1, rep from *, end p1.

Row 5: K1, *k2tog, k4, yo, rep from *, end k1.

Row 6: P2, *p4, yo, p2tog, rep from * across.

Afghan Cast on 166 sts. Work 6 rows in seed st.

Beg lace pat, pm 4 sts from each edge and keeping 4 border sts at each edge in seed st throughout. Work in established pat until piece measures approximately 491⁄2 inches from beg. Work 6 sts rows of seed st. Bind off loosely.
