SimonsVoss leads the way

When we launched our Digital Locking and Access Control System 3060 over 20 years ago,

we started a development process which continues with ground-breaking innovations to the

present day. Today, we have an extensive portfolio of tailor-made solutions for a wide variety of

uses. The global success of our security systems is essentially based on three pillars: intelligent

features, easy handling and permanent optimisation or further development.

I believe that the SimonsVoss philosophy can be expressed in three words: consistent customer

orientation. We create real added value on a technical, organisational and business level.

Our System Line 3060 incorporates two intelligent new arrivals, for example: SmartRelay

3 Advanced as a control unit for universal tasks and Digital SmartHandle 3062 with

DoorMonitoring function. The MobileKey product line introduced last year is being extended

to include an online version, making this innovative solution even more attractive for small and

medium-sized enterprises. The SmartIntego product line is one of the highlights among our new

products. This type of technology is unique in providing integrated access control in existing

complex management systems.

We took an important step last year to ensure that we continue to meet our own high standards

for performance in the future. We have been an Allegion company, the international pioneer in

the security sector with leading brands such as CISA®, Interflex®, LCN®, Schlage®, SimonsVoss®

and Von Duprin®, since September 2015. Allegion focuses on security for doors and entrance

areas, offering a wide variety of solutions for private households, companies, schools and

other institutions. This merger has given the SimonsVoss brand immediate access to lucrative

markets in some 130 countries worldwide. For our partners and customers, this means an

of SimonsVoss

System 3060: flexible. Extendible in modules. Digital Locking and Access

Control System 3060 offers customised access, protocol, control and

monitoring functions which meet the needs of companies, banks, public

agencies and other institutions perfectly. Existing employee IDs can be used

for access control, for example.

Keyless locking and unlocking Instead of conventional keys, users receive a

digital ID medium, such as a transponder or a SmartCard (A), where personal

access authorisations are stored.

In full control The authorised ID medium opens doors, entrance ways, lifts,

turnstiles and barriers (B). The fully network-ready system captures and logs

each access event automatically, managing everything with an easy-to-use

software application (C). All building doors can be opened or closed centrally

in life-threatening situations.

Digital SmartHandle 3062

with DoorMonitoring function

The electronic door handle SmartHandle 3062 unites intelligent access

control with an elegant, ergonomic design. Its ultra-flat design encloses highly

innovative technologies. This fitting controls access for up to 64,000 users,

accurately identifying their authorisation and time and place of use. Integrated

button cells provide power for up to 150,000 lock operations and guarantee

reliable operation for up to 10 years. SmartHandles can be online or integrated

into a SimonsVoss virtual network.

Innovative door monitoring:

Digital SmartHandle 3062

with DoorMonitoring function

In its DoorMonitoring design, SmartIntego SmartHandle has become one of

the most compact door monitoring systems in the world. Three integrated

sensors – in the fastening screw, the deadbolt contact* and the inside handle –

check the door status and forward it to the access control system in real time.

Security-critical information such as ‘Door open’ (01), ‘Door shut’, ‘Dead bolt

extended’ or not (02) are thus reliably transmitted to the control centre.

Even exceeded time limits (03) on an open door or a forced break-in are de-

tected and reported. As with all SmartHandles, the DoorMonitoring version can

be installed in minutes without any drilling or wiring to the door.

SmartRelay 3 3063 – Advanced

SmartRelay 3 3063 – Advanced is a networked control unit consisting of a

controller and reader. Up to 3 external readers can be connected. These can

be ordered as separate units and can be operated with active and passive

identification media. The controller features configurable inputs and outputs

and is connected to the network via Ethernet (PoE-capable). The sabotage

contact protects against manipulation and triggers an alarm the moment an

unauthorised person tries to open the housing.

This universal genius is highly versatile. The following two functions

deserve particular interest:

:: Use as a high-performance gateway in virtual networks

It transmits access authorisations to ID media in

virtual networks.

:: Control of technical devices and systems

It controls installations such as lifts, locker systems and machines in

conjunction with the SmartOutput module, which is connected to the

SmartRelay 3 in the same way as an external reader.

The flexible, web-based locking system MobileKey® is inexpensive and suitable

for up to 20 doors and 100 users. Traditional keys are replaced by a digital

transponder, a PIN code keypad or your smartphone in the MobileKey system.

Electronic door cylinders are used instead of mechanical ones. You can fit them

easily yourself in minutes with no cabling or drilling required. The new locking

system is configured using a free web app. Ready to use.

MobileKey®: web-based locking system

for up to 20 doors and 100 users

01. Web app

MobileKey is set up and managed

using the web app. The app can run

on any internet-ready device such as

a PC, tablet PC, Mac or smartphone.

Just a few clicks and you can estab-

lish which particular users have which

particular access rights. This is child’s

play and can be changed at any time.

02. SimonsVoss server

The data from the web app is trans-

mitted to the SimonsVoss server,

where they are added as a locking

plan and sent back to the web app

automatically.

03. Basic version

The data is transferred to the tran-

sponders and locking components

via the programming device. The

system is now ready for operation.

04. Optional: Online extension

The online version connects net-

worked locking components directly

with the server via a SmartBridge

and authorisation changes will be

implemented almost in real time as

a result. Full control anywhere at any

time.

05. Radio key

As an identification medium

Open up without a mechanical key,

using a transponder, PIN code keypad

On the press of a button, wireless

No more problems due to lost keys

If you have lost your transponder,

you can simply deactivate it and

activate a new one. The best thing is

that there is no more need to change

locking devices.

No wiring, no drilling,

virtually maintenance-free

The locking cylinders are installed

and replaced with no need for wiring.

Initial installation or retrofit on doors

is thus completed in next to no

time without any drilling or special

tools. The matching electronic door

cylinders can be installed or retrofit

in minutes . They feature many

intelligent functions and are almost

maintenance-free thanks to their

Time schedules and event logging

Flexible time schedules determine

who gains entry through each access

at particular times. Event logging

DoorMonitoring – the smallest door

monitoring system in the world

Integrated sensors in the cylinder

monitor the door status and record

each change in status. Crucial

information is forwarded in real time,

indicating whether the door is open

or closed, the dead bolt is completely

retracted or extended and if the door

has been locked once or double

locked or has been open too long.

Key4Friends

Little authorisations keep a friendship

alive Time-limited access codes can

be sent to any smartphones. The

recipient just needs to download

the right app (Android/iOS), register

and then has access to your home.

Electronic invitations are valid for up

to three weeks.

SmartIntego components such as SmartIntego locking cylinders,

SmartHandles, PIN code terminals, padlocks and GatewayNodes can be easily

integrated into complex security systems.

With its high-performance communication protocols, SmartIntego can be

seamlessly incorporated into existing access control or building management
