All the above officers shall handover the charges to their successors with priorapproval of their controlling officers. They shall give a handing over note with pendencystatus of work in their charges to their successors with copy to their controlling officer.Further, they should brief the incoming officers about important pending issues in theircharge. The controlling officers shall ensure the above and see that there is no dislocationof work during the transition period and also that important issues are not lost sight of.

In respect of officers presently working in the Commissionerate, the above exerciseshall be completed by 10.06.2011 without fail. Officers joining on transfer from otherCommissionerate shall take over soon after their relief.

In respect of officers posted to Selective Audit/HQRS and Service Tax/HQRS, theADC(Audit) and the ADC(Service Tax) may allocate the work to them.

In respect of officers posted to technical sections of divisional offices, the divisionalDC/ACs may allocate the work under intimation to this office.

The date of relief and joining of the officers may be intimated to this office.
