The UNCF’s Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) Program is funded by a $1.6 billion grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation. GMS annually provides 1,000 eligible students with a good-through-graduation undergraduate scholarships.
This event, for 8th–12th grade males will feature workshops for parents/guardians and students on college readiness, creating competitive college scholarship applications and understanding financial aid. There will also be a panel discussion and campus tour.
