Saint Michael gearing up for vacation bible School – fiShing for volunteerS. Deep Sea Discovery is the theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School which will launch June 13 -16. Adult volunteers can sign-up online at www.saintmichael.org/vbs. Registration begins April 1.run With Jubilee park. Jubilee Park is a major sponsor of the city-wide Chick-fil-A Connect Race on Saturday, March 26. You are invited to join our Jubilee neighbors for the 10k, 5k, or 1-mile fun run which starts at 8:00 a.m. at Dallas City Hall. The race benefits Operation Blue Shield, dedicated to building relationships between neighborhoods, city officials, and emergency and law enforcement agencies. regiSter noW for the Men of Saint Michael retreat april 8 – 10. The Men of Saint Michael will retreat to the Lantana Resort on Lake Ray Roberts April 8 -10. Led by The Rt. Rev. Jeff Fisher, Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of Texas and Vicar Bill Murray, the retreat will build bonds, plan future activities, and rejuvenate faith. The $300 fee includes meals, accommodations, and the program. Register with Julia Giles at [email protected].
eaSter Sunday offeringS benefit outreach MiniStrieS. Three ministries serving women and families will benefit from Saint Michael’s Easter Offerings. The money will be divided equally between:
• Gateway of Grace in Dallas, the largest refugee outreach program in North Texas
• Our Friends Place in Dallas providing transitional resources for young women facing neglect, abuse, poverty, or homelessness
• The Princess Basma Centre for Children with Disabilities in Jerusalem

If you would like to remember a loved one this Easter, fill out one of the Flower Memorial envelopes enclosed in the worship bulletin with the names of those you want to honor either in Memory or Thanksgiving and return it with your check by next Sunday, March 20. Flower Memorial envelopes are also available at the reception desk.
deliver eaSter floWerS to hoMebound pariShionerS. We need volunteers to deliver Easter Flowers to the homebound on Easter Sunday, March 27. Complete your Easter celebration and create a family tradition by delivering flowers to those who are unable to attend worship services at the church. Beginning at 5:30 enjoy refreshments and fellowship followed by the program presented by Interim Rector, The Very Rev. Doug Travis, discussing his personal thoughts about prayer. St. Michael’S WoMan’S exchange – the place for eaSter giftS. Looking for an Easter Gift for your child, grandchild, best friend, spouse, anybody? The St. Michael’s Woman’s Exchange in Highland Park Village has it. Remember, the Exchange is staffed by volunteers and all proceeds go to Dallas area charities.
