Memorial Mass�
November is the month we dedicate to pray for those who have
died. On Friday, November 2, at 6:30 PM a special Mass will be
celebrated to remember by name our deceased parishioners who
died this past year. They will be remembered in a special way
during the liturgy. Their names will be read aloud, and a candle
will be lit in their memory. All are invited to gather in faith and in
mutual support of our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Misa Memorial
Noviembre es el mes que dedicamos a orar por los que han
muerto. El viernes, 2 de noviembre a las 6:30 PM se celebrará una
Misa especial para recordar por nombre a nuestros fallecidos
feligreses que murieron el año pasado. Ellos serán recordados de
una manera especial durante la liturgia, sus nombres serán leídos
en voz alta, y se encenderá una vela en su memoria. Todos están
invitados a reunirse en fe y en apoyo mutuo de nuestros hermanos
y hermanas en Cristo.

Lord Jesus Christ, by your own three days in
the tomb, you hallowed the graves of all who
believe in you and so made the grave a sign of
hope that promises resurrection even as it
claims our mortal bodies.
Grant that all departed may sleep in peace
until you awaken them to glory, for you are the
resurrection and the life. Then they will see
you face to face and in your light will see light
and know the splendor of God, for you live
and reign for ever and ever. Amen

English Baptism Preparation Sessions, for both Parents and
Godparents are normally held on the Second Sunday of each
month at 4:00pm at the parish office. Please call the parish
office in order to register for the session. The session will
include a discussion of the sacrament of Baptism, the
completion of the necessary forms, a review of the guidelines
for potential Godparents and the date for the Baptism will be
chosen. English Baptisms take place on the fourth weekend of
the month at one of the Masses.

Receiving the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick before going
to the Hospital�
If you or a loved one is going to the hospital for surgery or
treatment, we urge you to receive the Sacrament of Anointing
of the Sick before being hospitalized. The Sacrament can be
received after any Mass or by appointment. While the friars
respond to hospital emergency call requests, receiving the
Sacrament before going to the hospital is preferable in the event
that one of the friars is not immediately available in an
emergency. Your family and friends are welcome to join you
for this special celebration so they can pray for you too.

Grandfather Mountain
High school youth are invited to go on our Fall
Trip to Grandfather Mountain in Linville, North
Carolina on Saturday, November 17
th
. We'll
enjoy a picnic lunch, hiking, and the Mile High
Swinging bridge. The cost is $20 for youth and it's
free for adult chaperones. Financial assistance will
be offered if needed. Registration forms are
available in the Church and at the parish office.
Space is limited.
Please register no later than November 5.
Grandfather Mountain
Los jóvenes de High School están invitados a ir a
nuestro Viaje de Otoño a Grandfather Mountain en
Linville, Norte Carolina, el sábado, 17 de noviembre.
Disfrutaremos de un almuerzo tipo picnic, caminatas
y el puente Mile High Swinging. El costo es de $20
para jóvenes y es gratis para chaperones adultos. Se

of providing a picture ID Card to anyone who may need
one for their personal use. It is not limited to any specific
group of persons.

license, library card with photo, work permit with photo,
border cross card, birth certificate along with a photo ID
from this list, etc…)
3) Proof of current address within 2 months (i.e. phone or
electricity bill, lease agreement, bank statement, etc…)
The FaithAction ID Card will cost $10 (cash or check only)
and will include your photo, full name, and address, date of
birth, country of origin, and expiration date, along with the
FaithAction Logo.

Degree, the patriotic degree, are
once again assembling a remembrance book to honor all veterans
from our parish family. Anyone wishing to add to this book may
fill out a form, available at the welcome table in the gathering
area, and submit it to be included in the book. Submissions from
past years are still contained in the book, so there is no need to re-
submit, unless the information needs to be updated. The book will
be displayed in a place of honor at Mass on Veteran’s Day
weekend Nov 10-11.
