We are based in the heart of London, only a few doorsdown from The British Museum, within easy reach of thecomfortable accommodation we provide. We offer bothfriendly home stays and residential accommodation, alla short journey from Central London by public transport.

Our Classrooms All our lessons will be at our Central London Centreonly a few metres from Holborn Underground station, 1Catton Street. Youll nd our classrooms cool and child-friendly. Our school is equipped with Wi-Fi, internet laband a library with DVDs, graded books and magazinesthat are all free for our students to use. One of the greatthings about studying with us is that it is really easy toget to the sights you have always wanted to see; CoventGarden, The London Eye, The Houses of Parliament areall within walking distance. Want to shop? Our school isa short stroll from arguably the most famous high streetin London- Oxford Street with hundreds of shops for alltastes and trends.

Our Residential AccommodationOur family-run, friendly residence is in a nice quietarea of Acton and has a separate block especiallydedicated to our Young Learners. Stay here and youll

be a 2 minute walk from Acton Town UndergroundStation which is on the Piccadilly and District lines,great for both Heathrow Airport and the centre of

London. We have rooms to suit all tastes and budgets,from twins to triples, all clean and simply furnished which are en suite. The residence is only a short journey by public transport to the school. It has been checkedto make sure it meets the strict standards set byThe British Council.

Our Home Stays All our Home stays are provided by our well-respectedBritish Council Accredited partners. They are allonly a short ride by public transport from the schooland are on average no more than a 30 minute journey

by bus or underground.

Summer School July & AugustMorning English Classes

At the English Studio we concentrate on all the skillsthat are not often practised back home. We work hard,

but in a fun way, on speaking , especially pronunciationand uency. We practise writing in real scenarios andsituations, reading of authentic material plus lots of

vocabulary focusing especially on idiomatic expressions. We test our students before their courses begin to makesure they will attend the right level. A speaking test is alsogiven on their rst day. The lessons are specially designed

by our highly quali ed Course Director. We bring theoutside world into the classroom!

Afternoon Activities What makes our Summer School different from all theothers is our amazing 7-day social programme.Students will visit the main tourist attractions inLondon. Parks, museums, galleries, Royal palacesand much much more! If they are staying with oneof our lovely home stays they will spend Sundays

with them, learning more about our culture.

Study TimeEvery day before dinner students will complete a

written project to take home with them as a recordof their brilliant time in London. This way parents canshare their childrens experience and see just how cleverthey are!

Evening Activities We organise a range of fun activities in the evenings,including visits to Central London, lm nights anda quiz night, to get students to practise the languagethey are learning.

Excursions out of LondonOnce a week students will enjoy a great day out to

visit one of the following nearby cities: Oxford (city walk and picnic outside Christ Church College),Hampton Court (visit the castle and picnic in thegardens), Brighton (visit to the famous pier),Cambridge (city walk and shopping in market place).Canterbury ( city walk visit of a UNESCO World HeritageSite).

Certificate All our students receive a certi cate at the end of theircourse stating the number of hours and level attendedaccording to the Common European Framework ofReference for Languages.

Groups all year round We also organise programmes all year round for groupsof young learners.

Morning English ClassesOur highly quali ed Course Director has designed aprogramme exclusive to the English Studio. It containslessons on pronunciation, idiomatic expressions andBritish History & culture. We can also include practiceon Cambridge for Trinity exams.

Our AccommodationStudents all stay within safe residential areas ofLondon. They can choose between friendly home staysor residential accommodation.

Our ResidencesStudents will share rooms with other students. There isa trained welfare of cer in the residence at all times tokeep a close eye on students. (All our welfare of cers are

experienced and have had a police check). We handpick the residences for our young learners, theirsafety is always our priority.

Home StaysFriendly and homely atmosphere in a carefullyselected home stay environment. Students receive break -fast each day and spend each Sunday in the company oftheir home stay.

MealsIf staying in our accommodation all meals are provided andif you are joining our non-residential program youll receivelunch every day. A lling continental breakfast is servedevery morning in our residence or in the home stay.For lunch a tasty packed lunch prepared daily from a local

sandwich bar. A hot meal is served in the residence or in the home stay fordinner.

How much English do I need to know to be ableto apply to come on one of your courses?

We need you to have an elementary level of English. We will send you an electronic placement test and you will know which class you will be in before you arrive.

How much should I bring to spend in London?I hear it is expensive!

You need to allow around 1 per day for your dailyticket to travel around London. If you are attendingour Young Learner Summer School then 30 will

be enough for a few treats.

What happens if there is an emergency? We have a trained rst aid of cer with the students while in class and during excursions. Riskassessments are carefully carried out accordingto the British Council guidelines. As well as a 24 houremergency number, there will be a telephone number

for your group leader in the welcome pack you willget once your place on the course has been con rmed.It also has the details of where you will be staying.

Your parents will therefore have a number of waysto contact you in an emergency.

Are the children always under supervision? YES, our group leaders are with the children 24 hoursa day, ready to help if needed. Students in the residenceare shown which room to go to if they need someone tohelp with anything. There is always a responsible adultavailable to them.

Will I have access to the internet? Yes in the accommodation and the school students canuse the free Wi-Fi. If you dont have a computer studentscan use the internet lab at the school free.

Thank you for making these

two weeks so special for our

2 sons. Your courses are very

well organized and your staff

exceptionally well trained. Although they come from a small

town in Albania they never felt

unsafe or lost. The children loved

the classes and even more the

afternoon activities. This was an
