Brooke Pratt first stamped her kids names onto some wooden spoons in early 2011, and had no idea that one year later she'd have a successful business, and have her first feature in Martha Stewart Living. Sucre means "sweet" in French and seems a fitting name for our small business, dedicated to sweetening parties and special events with our utensils, plates, scoops, and other giftables.

Hello! Nice to meet you! We are Sucre Shop. We were founded in 2011 as the very first business to create customized wooden utensils with bright colors and graphics. We have grown from a little Etsy store run by one person, into a team of ice cream enthusiasts that wholesale our unique products, supplying gourmet grocers and retail stores internationally.

Our utensils are made from sustainably forested and harvested grade A birch and are hand printed in our St. Louis, MO studio. We have been tested byBureau Veritas, our products meet with FDA requirements, and are food safe.

Our 4.25” scoops are a great size for candy bowls and ice cream toppings. They can also be used for peanuts and mix on a bar! Scoops are reuseable, but take care to use them with dry goods only, as water can damage the wood and/or printing.
