Sh. Sunil Pathania is a progressive farmer. He could not continue his education beyond 12th standard. He is having 2.4 acre of cultivated land. Initially he started a small shop near his village but after some time he focused only in farming after having training from Krishi Vigyan Kendra in mushroom, poultry and vegetable cultivation. At present he is earning more than 6 lakhs per annum from these enterprises and he is also a good motivator for the unemployed youths of the village. He is growing cereals in 0.5 acre and cash crops like, Ladyfinger, Cucumber, Bottlegourd, Bittergourd, Frenchbeans, Capsicum, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Radish, Brinjal etc in 1.6 acre area. Apart from this Sh Sunil Pathania also having a unit of mushroom, dairy and poultry. He also prepared vermicompost and used in vegetable production. He has a tube well, sprinkler and drip system of irrigation. Owing to good quality of produce, retailers are lifting his produce directly from farm thus saving the extra efforts required to market his produce.
