Challenge: Expand publicity and increase App

Scorebook is a Windows-based App that allows

basketball coaches, teams, and fans to record scores

quickly and easily. As a relatively new product, it

faces stiff competition from established and similar

Apps in the marketplace.

Solution: As per the proposal, Strategic Marketing

Services took the task of updating and promoting the

App through social media channels. It identied two

goals from Facebook promotion. First, build

connection with the targeted user base (High school

basketball players, fans, and coaches). Second,

increase App download from Facebook.

Results: Relevant posts related to basketball and

information on the App made basketball fans more

connected to the brand. Regular posts and linking to

related communities also reinforced the brand. In just

90 days, the client's Facebook page received more

than 1000 likes and the number of downloads for the

App was over 300.
